"Galfas and his books preach the message: look after the person first, and he has applied this philosophy to the Colors on Parade system, which he has built as a community of purpose, principle, and caring. 'One of my big messages is teamwork: people helping people, Galfas says.
He tries to give the principle both business and personal applications. Colors on Parade is organized through regional developers so that units share work with each other, making the entire system stronger. The attitude has also contributed to the company's low turnover rate -- about 10%, compared with 25% for other businesses that operate from mobile units.
"An extension of Galfas humanistic philosophy is the desire to unleash the uncommon ability of average people."
